1. For Teaching Posts

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Graduation + B.Ed + CTET Max 35 years
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Post-Graduation + B.Ed. Max 40 years
Principal Master’s Degree + B.Ed + Experience 35-50 years
Vice Principal Master’s Degree + B.Ed + Experience 35-45 years
Librarian B.Lib.Sc./B.L.I.Sc + Experience Max 35 years

2. For Non-Teaching Posts

Finance Officer MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA Max 50 years
Administrative Officer Bachelor’s Degree + Experience Max 50 years
Stenographer 12th Pass + Typing Skills Max 27 years

KVS Selection Process 2025

The selection process varies for different posts but generally includes:

  1. Written Examination – Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  2. Skill Test (for Stenographers, Typists, etc.)
  3. Interview & Document Verification

For teaching positions, candidates must qualify CTET (Paper I for PRT, Paper II for TGT & PGT).
